We follow P.G. County Public School's closing schedule ONLY when it pertains to weather related conditions. ~

  • Holiday Break: Monday- Friday, Dec. 22-26

  • Yearly Professional Development Monday-Tuesday, Dec 29-30

  • New Year Break: Wednesday-Friday, December 31- January 2

                             GNCC reopens Monday, January 6, 2026

  • Presidents Day: Monday, February 16

  • Spring Break: Monday-Friday, March 30- April 3

  • Easter: Monday, April 6

  • Memorial Day: Monday, May 25

  • Juneteenth: Friday, June 19

  • Independence Day: Friday, July 3

  • Labor Day: Monday, September 7

  • Indigenous Peoples' Day: Monday, Oct. 12

  • Veteran's Day: Tuesday, November, 11 

  • Thanksgiving Break: Wednesday-Friday, November, 25-27

  • Holiday Break: Monday- Friday, Dec. 21-25

Personal days and vacation dates will be noted in Handbook calendars

Providers are allowed (2) two weeks paid vacation, up to (2) two sick and (2) two personal days per year. Full details in Parent handbook.

​

What are Professional Development days? These are days your providers/teachers take to complete various in-person duties during "(week) day hours" to include but limited to: continued training, certification updates, medical appointments, etc outside of sick, personal and vacation leave.
